Around the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth Washington state, there are cabins near the river and cabins by the river. But the Icicle Riverhaus is literally perched on the banks of the river. Long a favorite of visitors, the owners of the Riverhaus announce that they have hired Leavenworth Sunspot Vacation Rental Managers to take over and promote the property.
"The place is owned by three families who consider it our private sanctuary," Said Rick Whitney one of the group. "We have been offering the home for rent for a long time and now we'll make even more nights available to lucky visitors."
The four bedroom, two and a half bath cabin is located in the "Icicle River Island" area which requires visitors to cross a quaint bridge and drive down a small lane to the river. Inside, they find a rustic and cozy forest cabin complete with a fireplace, board games, television and deep comfortable furniture.
"We are lucky to have been chosen to work with the Riverhaus," said Deresa Norman, operations manager for Leavenworth Sunspots. "We have some of the most unique homes in the area and this one is another shooting star."
Just five miles from the Village, the cabin is easily accessible and yet a world apart - quiet, pristine and private. Guests can spend lazy days sitting by the river and evenings in Leavenworth enjoying unusual shops, world class dining and non-stop festivals, music, dancing and events such as Oktoberfest and the Christmas lighting nights.
